Our Mission

Sandhills ISSA's mission is to be the premier catalyst and information source in Fayetteville and the surrounding counties for improving the practice of information security. We accomplish this by providing:

• Education, networking and support to our members:
  • Information security practitioners
  • IT practitioners with information security responsibilities
  • Information security vendors
• Outreach, advocacy and education to the broader Fayetteville and Sandhills community

We provide the following education, networking and support opportunities for information security professionals, IT personnel and information security vendors:

• Monthly meetings at the FTCC campus
• Networking with other local professionals
• Information Security training and education

• Information security management awareness programs to the people who lead our businesses, not-for-profits, schools, and government units.
